New Vegas stands a head taller than the other fallout games. Overall fantastic game thats sometimes ruined by age and jank. There were numerous game breaking bugs I came across during my play-though including an invincibility glitch and rag-doll warping (basically I shot a guy with a 9mm and their body went flying across the map), it's an extremely broken game but usually it doesn't ruin your playing experience, at least the ones I ran into. The auto-save is complete utter garbage so you'll end up manually saving about every 5 minutes so you don't lose tons of progress or get yourself trapped in a softlock. My one and only complaint about this game is some parts haven't aged very well. I had the bloody mess perk so I had one of these kills at least a couple times per gunfight, it was great. system is equal parts fun and hilarious due to all of the gory kills. The combat and gunplay are extremely fun with TONS of different weapons to find and use. Some perks are better than others and some are completely useless (I'm looking at you lead belly), but most are helpful and it feels rewarding leveling up and getting to pick out a new perk to add. Wanna be sneaky or blast in guns blazing? Do you want to be able to talk your way out of problems or shoot anybody who stands in your way? I personally went with the ladder and I had a great time. The skills and perk systems are a great way of defining your class and play-style. It explained what happened to basically everybody you ran into during your journey which is nice. I went with a Legion play-though and I was happy with the ending I got. That's as far as I'll go, I highly recommend you jump into the game with nothing more than this basic knowledge, a blind play-though is the way to go. You then set out to find the man who shot you, all along the way making friends and enemies with local people, gangs, and army's. Doc Mitchell, resident of town Goodsprings, finds you and patches you up. The story is simple enough, you are a courier delivering a platinum chip when suddenly you get shot and left for dead in the Mojave.

However, this game suffers from tons of Bethesda jank which brings down the whole experience a notch. The world it creates is so immersive and full of people to talk to and missions to complete. I want to give this game a 100%, I really do.
